Data Protection

1. Two Kinds of Data

Leadlance handles two distinct categories of data, and this page treats them differently throughout: your own account information as a Leadlance user, and the business contact data ("Contact Data") that search results surface, sourced from a combination of our own database and public professional sources.

2. Your Account Data

We collect only what's needed to operate your account: name, email, company name, usage activity, and billing records. This data is stored on infrastructure with encryption in transit, and access within our organization is restricted to what's needed to operate the service. 3. Contact Data in Search Results

Business contact information returned by a search reflects publicly available professional information, such as name, title, company, and, where revealed, contact details. Leadlance does not independently verify how this information originally became public. Use of Contact Data obtained through the platform is governed by our Terms of Service, and you are responsible for using it lawfully and respectfully.

4. Security Measures

We use industry-standard security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved, including encryption of data in transit, hashed password storage, and access controls restricting who within our organization can view account or billing data. We continue to build out our data protection practices as the platform grows, including working toward formal data processing agreements with our infrastructure and service providers as part of that ongoing process.

5. Service Providers We Use

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the platform, including hosting and infrastructure, payment processing, and email delivery. Each is used only for the purpose it's engaged for, and only receives the data necessary to perform that function. We do not sell or rent your data to these or any other party.

6. Your Rights

You may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal account data, depending on your jurisdiction. To make a request, email support@leadlance.io. We aim to respond within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of rights that may apply to you.

7. Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Exported search result files are retained for a limited period before automatic deletion, shown on the export screen at the time of export. Transaction records are retained as required for accounting purposes.
